Hey, it’s us. @KatieCunningham and @LynnBixenspan. We met on Twitter and we don’t know each other in real life. We just fell in Twitter comedy lady love and couldn’t control ourselves. First it was a hesitant fave here and there. Some late-night @-ing each other with wild abandon.
Finally, we got serious, took it to DM, and here we are. There’s a huge obstacle though. Katie lives in LA and Lynn lives in NY. But we wanna be the next Amy and Tina, the next Leslie and Ann, the next Bobo and Bee-Bo.
So we decided to do this video project, where we do weekly friendship getting-to-know each other videos, like “prove you love me using only quotes from Spongebob” or “fart the Rainbow Connection with all your stuffed animals swaying behind you.” Maybe even some friendly challenges to see how we both interpret them, like “who can do a better impression of every one of Lena Dunham’s body parts during the filming of the hit HBO series, ‘Girls’?” It’s gonna be super fun, we think, cause it’s us.
